Cost: $21 (Original MunchPak) or $39 (Family Pak)

My personal favorite are the chocolate covered Yan Yan… if you haven’t tried them before than beware!!!! These little suckers are addictive!

I received this months MunchPak courtesy of MunchPak for review purposes. Let’s take a closer look at all the goodies inside!
Included in the MunchPak is a card alerting the subscriber to head over to their site to check out the snack descriptions. I found that many of the snacks included in this particular box was not listed on their “Snack” site, which I would have preferred to receive a detailed description card within the box. However, I was able to find just about all the products descriptions online through different sources and each item does have the nutritional information in English.
Onion Pie Crackers (2.50 oz) $3? & Tayto Pickled Onion Crisps (37.5 g) $2?
The wheat crackers remind me of wheat thins but have a much cleaner taste! I was limited to the amount of information I could find on the product since it was not on MunchPak’s snack site, but the ingredients and nutritional information are in English. I was not too worried about not knowing the maker of this snack. I am accustomed to mystery edibles since I go to the Asian Grocery Store regularly and find myself picking up foods that I can’t necessary say in English what they are.
I wasn’t too sure about the Tayto pickled onion flavor but I do like salt and vinegar and it seemed similar so I gave it a try. OMG…. these potato crisps are amazing!!!! These remind me of the TGIF Potato Skin Bacon Cheddar Chips I love… so good!
BAMBI Jos Perece Pretzels (90g) $1.75? & Balconi Trancetto Snack Cacao Snack Cakes (1 cake) $1.25?
The Serbian pretzel snack was covered in a delicious amount of sea salt and each pretzel was practically mouth sized!
The Balconi cake is part sponge cake and chocolate cake sandwiched together by a chocolate filling. I thoroughly enjoyed this soft and decadent treat!
I remember getting the smaller chick o sticks during Halloween in my neighborhood this is a memory I am saving for the kids. I remember on Halloween I would eat everything except for these and the taffys, and then would give the leftovers to my dad. Good times… good times!
If you love white chocolate and Kit Kats then you are missing out if you never had this bar before! The chunky white chocolate Kit Kat is available in places like Japan and England, but here in the states we have to order from places like Amazon of Global wholesalers.
Milka Crispello Vanilla (3 bon bons) $1.20 & Bananko – Chocolate Covered Banana Flavored Dessert (30g) $0.28
The European Milka bon bons are super sweet but truly mouth watering. I am glad you only get three of these, because I would have eaten a whole bag of these by myself.
The Croata banana dessert is a first for me, but I am not fond of banana flavorings. My son however loved this bar!
The Chewits are made from real Sugar and have the consistency of an Now-A-Later but the flavor is definitely more on the fresh fruit side.
Living in Germany for some time, I live off of Hairbo candies! For those who love gummy bears, than the Haribo (Gold Bear) brand should not be a stranger to you, the roulette rolls are just gummie bears in a round shape. Love these!
Animal Kingdom Milk Chocolate with sticker (1 pack) $0.30 & Yamata Peas – Chili Flavor (1 serving) $0.71?
I like that the tiny package of peas contains the nutritional information in English on the back of the packaging! Haven’t tried these yet, but I did find that different brands of these same peas were available through Amazon with some great reviews!
The Croatia chocolate bar contains a children’s sized thin chocolate which also contains an animal sticker picture. My daughter loved how each slice melted delicately in her mouth!
One thing I can say is that MunchPak does a great job curating their boxes with hard to find snacks! I love the allure that these snacks are unique to only me and other subscribers. The only down side I see is if you like to purchase more of a snack then you have a really hard time trying to track down where to buy it. If you notice the price of each item is pretty low, then you also need to calculate the average cost of shipping (globally) for each item (kind of expensive). The international shipping costs are crazy high and most of the wholesalers force you to buy packages of 30 or more items. I loved the variety and mix of sweet, salty, crunchy, and chewy snacks!
I see this perfect for college students, newly weds, the weary traveler, or anyone that wants to experience a bit of around the world culture!
